Southern Area Regional Art Education Conference

We are excited to welcome you to our one-day regional event with amazing workshops and keynote speaker, Mexican American artist and activist Barbara Carrasco. Located in the heart of historical downtown Los Angeles, this one day mini-conference will also include free admission to La Plaza's galleries, as well as a number of museums and historical sites within walking distance.

Carpool and public transportation are encouraged. La Plaza sits within convenient walking distance to Union Station and their variety of public transportation options.

Additional Information
Coffee, tea, and breakfast snacks will be provided. Lunch will be on your own, with many excellent recommendations and time to explore the local area.

Because this year’s CAEA conferences are regional, we are not reserving a block of hotel rooms. There are many quality options within a comfortable walking distance of La Plaza.
