Why Should I Attend?

Many people wonder what is included this year in my registration fee for the state conference.

Your registration fee includes the following:

    • Workshopping - back by popular demand. This fun format allows you to meet eight different presenters out of a group of 25.

    • Our Friday night ARTCon is loaded with hands-on art activities, cosplay presenters to draw, comic artists, gigantic tape art mural sponsored by DAVIS, FREE Dinner, live band, networking, fun, and so much more!

  5. Free Dinner Saturday night - Dinner with Your Division, a time to network with people who teach the same grade levels or perform the same job function.

  6. Arts Advocacy and Crocker Museum Day on Thursday, November 14, 2019

    • While there is a bus charge (optional), it will take you to the Capitol so you can visit your legislator. Then walk to Crocker Art Museum to do our public art walk (see the conference tours webpage: https://www.caea-arteducation.org/tours). There is free admission to the museum and a free workshop; but, you will need to sign up, as size is limited.  Also included is free admission to ArtMIX, the Thursday night event at the Crocker. But please sign up for these events so we can alert the Crocker that you are coming.

  7. Exhibitors Hall where you can interact with companies and learn about new materials, curriculum, and resources. Learn about new things in the field and try things out. There are even exhibitor workshops.

Not included in the registration fee, but please check these out on the website!

  • Half-price Master Classes on Sunday with our Super Studio Sunday. Purchase the class pass and choose from ten different artists for one 2.5 hour studio class.

  • Fifteen Master Classes on Friday and Saturday, both day and evening options. (2.75-hour classes with noted local artists and faculty)

  • Thursday Tours
