Conference Special Ticketed Events

Lunch with a Mentor

Saturday, November 16, 2019
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

This popular event was held for the first time at the 2018 conference and was a resounding success. The luncheon is designed for Preservice teachers (years 1-5).  Each participant will have the opportunity to chat informally with a variety of experienced arts educators. These mentors will offer special ideas on how to deal with administration, working with special populations, planning your budget, curriculum, and other survival tips for those first critical years. The luncheon is co-sponsored by Davis Publications who believe in teacher success. The price for lunch is only $15. The event sold out in 2018, so don’t miss the opportunity to sign up this year!

Click the link for more information about mentor and mentee opportunities at the 2019 conference.

All mentors need to sign up with Kathy Farros-Hoeppner, [email protected], preferably by September 30, 2019.  The mentor list will be created on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cost: $15
