NAEA and CAEA are State Membership Partners

Become part of the national conversations and the largest professional organizations established by visual arts educators for visual arts educators!

As a California member of the National Art Education Association (NAEA), you automatically become a member of the California Art Education Association (CAEA) and receive both national and state membership benefits.

NAEA advances visual arts education to fulfill human potential and promote global understanding. NAEA supports visual arts educators to bolster your teaching, your career, and your creativity. NAEA resources, benefits, and opportunities are continuously created in direct response to the timely needs of art educators and your students.

CAEA exists because of its members whose input is crucial in maintaining a dynamic organization. The vitality of the Association depends upon a broad base of leadership, and the members are encouraged to become actively involved. The membership consists primarily of elementary, secondary, community college, university, museum, student teachers, and retired educators dedicated to the promotion of the visual arts in California. Art-related businesses, art organizations, legislators, state employees, and special interest groups also are members committed to serving art education.

The California Art Education Association and the National Art Education Association invite YOU to become an active member and join our effort to protect and promote quality art education in California.
