If you register soon you can be one of the 50 High School Teachers attending California College of the Arts’ Free CAEA Pre-Conference Event!

Thursday, November 9th

This special event will include a free shuttle from the Hyatt to the campus and return shuttle. The event will begin with “Future Ready” presentation by creative design leader Aynne Valencia-Brooks, followed by a campus tour and reception.

California College of the Arts will then follow up with a confirmation and additional specific information. Register for CAEA’s Conference, you’ll be sent an email on how to RSVP to CAA’s pre-conference event.

California College of the Arts (CCA) educates students to shape culture and society through the practice and critical study of art, architecture, design, and writing. Benefitting from its San Francisco Bay Area location, the college prepares students for lifelong creative work by cultivating innovation, community engagement, and social and environmental responsibility. Founded in 1907, CCA is a private, non-profit and fully accredited institution offering 22 undergraduate and 13 graduate programs.

At the Pre-Conference event, CCA Associate Chair of Interaction Design, Aynne Valencia-Brooks, will present:

Aynne Valencia-Brooks
A creative design leader with over 18 years of professional digital design experience, Valencia-Brooks has crafted breakthrough, award-winning cross-platform experiences for clients such as University of Phoenix, McDonalds, SunTrust Bank, Visa, Wachovia, and Nike. Valencia-Brooks has worked as lead product designer for Microsoft Hardware Incubation teams, digital product design director in digital advertising at AKQA, design lead for the Cisco Flip Camera, service design lead at Fjord, and associate creative director of R/GA San Francisco. She has devoted the past two years of her career to developing the next generation of designers through curriculum development, teaching and consulting on strategy, and service delivering on design education.
