This year the CAEA annual state conference will be held at the McClellan Conference Center, Sacramento, 5411 Luce Ave, McClellan Park, CA 95652. This facility offers the opportunity for our members to easily spend time in the exhibit hall.

Last year we unveiled our new Conference App. We hope you spent time on the App to check out the exhibitor and sponsor pages. These pages offered a great opportunity to provide information to all attendees including sales representatives’ phone numbers, website, email addresses, and links to videos and blogs highlighting your company. This information is available to CAEA members and attendees throughout the entire year!

This year the App offers even more opportunities to interact with attendees, including mobile alerts, banner ads and gamification!! The feature we are most excited about is a QR code for each attendee! Just scan the badges and you will build a list of people who showed interest in your company. We will be running a variety of fun events for attending that will highlight the businesses of our exhibitors and sponsors to increase your face-to-face time.


Schedule for Exhibitors

Pre-conference Information

Center shipping receiving dates: Monday, November 11- Wednesday, November 13, 2019
Exhibit set up time: Thursday, November 14: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Friday, November 15, 2019: On-site Conference

  • 8:30 – 10:30 AM: Exhibitor Showcase continental breakfast and exhibit hall open
  • 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Keynote Speaker, Lois Hetland, “Value of Art Education”. (Exhibits closed)
  • 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Exhibit Hall open. With Beach Hut Deli on the premises and fast food nearby, we know our attendees will love spending their lunch time in the exhibit hall.
  • 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: the exhibit hall will close to get ready for the FIRST ARTCon!!
  • 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM: attendees will flood into the exhibit hall for a myriad of activities. Taco dinner (included in your booth or sponsorship fee), Cash Bar, Live Band, and a room full of arts hands-on activities. We anticipate 450 attendees and guests attending that evening. We will have activity tables throughout the great hall. In addition, we sincerely hope you will want to join in with an art making experience at your booth that highlights your products!! Or you might want to sponsor a table featuring your products or materials.

We are encouraging participants and exhibitors to come in costume as their Super Hero Alter Ego! There will be loads of games including tweeting their selfies from exhibitor booths!
If you are unable to stay the entire time, simply drape your booth, and volunteer security will be assigned.

Saturday, November 16

  • 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Keynote with Bridget Quin, “Broad Strokes”
  • 10:30 AM – 3:45 PM: Exhibit Hall is open. Please note the attendee lunch time: 12 Noon – 1:00 PM
  • 4:00 PM – 5:15 PM: Keynote: Simon Silva, “Cultivating Creativity”:
  • 5:15 PM – until completed: Exhibit Hall Breakdown*

*Due to the space availability the keynote speakers and exhibitors will be in the same great hall. In consideration for our speakers, we ask that exhibitors not breakdown until the keynote session is over. Our speakers are nationally known and you are welcome to attend.

Exhibitor Workshops

Registered conference exhibitors are eligible to present one or more company-related conference workshops. Please click the following link for workshop proposal submission details and to submit your workshop proposal(s) once you have registered as an exhibitor.


Parking: Free

Adjacent Hotels: The conference hotel is the Lions Gate Hotel just a couple of blocks away. Rooms are Single/Double $118 night plus taxes. Free parking, internet and breakfast. Other nearby hotels include Holiday Inn Express and Crowne Plaza.

Food: The O’Club at the Lions Gate offers a great selection of reasonably priced meals. At the conference center, there is the Beach Hut Deli and other fast food places are just across the parking lot.

Sacramento Airport: Nearby and provides easy flight connections.
