POSITION PAPER
The CAEA State Council of 2003-2005 called for a revised and updated position paper to align with the many changes to arts education and high school art courses in California in the last 15 years. Dr. Cris Guenter, CAEA President, authored this revision. CAEA members throughout the state participated in a series of draft reviews to refine this document. The 2003-2005 CAEA Council formally approved this position in a unanimous vote on April 30, 2005. Click here to open a pdf version of the full paper.
